As the regular NBA season comes to a close on April 14th, we pump the breaks on chores, errands, and wasting time in the kitchen preparing balanced meals because our evenings are about to be booked and busy. So grab the hummus and half-eaten chips, and get cozy on the couch. It’s playoff season, baby.
The Basics:
When is the 2024 SoFi Play-In Tournament?
The 2024 SoFi Play-In Tournament will take place April 16-19.
When do the 2024 NBA playoffs start?
The first round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs will start April 20.
Where can I watch the playoff games?
On a janky bar stool with the ghost of cigarette smoke in your local dive bar. Oh, you mean what television channels? The playoffs will air on ABC, ESPN, TNT and NBA TV.
What about the Conference Semifinals?
The Conference Semifinals will begin May 6-7 but can move up to May 4-5 if series from the prior round end early.
When is the 2024 NBA Finals?
The 2024 NBA Finals will begin June 6. Here’s a tentative schedule:
Thursday, June 6: Game 1
Sunday, June 9: Game 2
Wednesday, June 12: Game 3
Friday, June 14: Game 4
Monday, June 17: Game 5 (if necessary)
Thursday, June 20: Game 6 (if necessary)
Sunday, June 23: Game 7 (if necessary)
How can I watch the 2024 NBA Finals?
ABC is the exclusive broadcaster of the NBA Finals. So make sure you get your fill of Inside the NBA on TNT while you can. We can’t decide what’s more entertaining: the games, or Shaq and Charles Barkley duking it out while Ernie dissociates into the camera.
How to get the best at-home viewing experience.
Local bars are a hoot. But if you choose to forgo sticky bar tops and glass-shattering, feral hollering from the crowd, you can get a courtside experience at home. Not to brag (we want to brag), but Hisense has an exclusive partnership with the NBA. We’ve designed TVs that give you an unparalleled viewing experience. The integrated tech in Hisense TVs capture the atmosphere of it all. Feel the anticipation, the excitement, and the drama as you tally how many times Draymond Green gets ejected (sorry, Dray. We’re fans, we promise).
U8 Series: Mini-LED ULED Google TV
Our U8 Series is award winning for a reason. It’s designed with Mini-LED Pro, the latest and greatest in picture performance tech. You want brightness? Boom, unmatched. You want colors that pop? Done. And detail? We’ve got detail for days. Built-in Dolby Atmos ups the ante with immersive surround sound, putting you right at center court with everyone’s favorite cryptid, Jack Nicholson. It comes in a range of sizes, but for big games, you gotta go with a big TV to match. Check out the 75”, 85”, and 100” U8 TVs.
U6 Series: Mini-LED TV for the masses
The U6 Series makes Mini-LED – a game-changing picture technology – available to all. Catch each game with brighter, more realistic images that capture every trip to the paint with perfect detail. The contrast on this TV is exceptional, making vivid colors pop all throughout the action. Precise local dimming gives you ultimate control over that backlight, cranking up that HDR experience to eleven. The Hisense 75" Class U6 Series Mini-LED ULED 4K Google TV is an excellent choice for watching the finals at home.
A7 Series: UHD 4K TVs
The A7 Series is like the Swiss Army Knife of TVs. It has everything you want, tucked neatly into an affordable, can't-live-without package. 4K picture quality upgrades and a new operating system take this series to the next level. It comes with Game Mode Plus, which yeah, is great for smashing buttons on your PS4 controller, but levels up the experience for watching actual, human games too. The variable refresh rate and auto low latency mode keep the picture crisp, clear, and perfectly detailed through every turnover. DTS Virtual:X audio provides immersive surround sound, and Chromecast built-in lets you cast your favorite plays whenever you want. The Hisense 85" Class A7 Series LED 4K UHD is our go-to for an epic viewing experience.
100L5G: 100” Laser TV
Laser TVs are the final boss of TVs. They’re massive, hyper-detailed, and give your movie theater levels of immersion. The 100" 4K Smart Laser TV provides a crystal-clear 4K image, Dolby Atmos surround sound, ultra-short throw projection technology, Android smart TV capabilities, Game Mode, Filmmaker Mode, and a laser life of 25,000 hours. Just like Lebron, the LG5 does not quit and keeps serving up W’s.
What if I don’t have cable?
No sweat. Hisense Smart TVs are compatible with Fire TV, Android TV, Google TV, and Roku TV. Just choose your fighter and boot it up.
